Dan, I’ve seen too many people pursue goals and dreams imposed upon them, with the typical results of loss, regret and frustration. I’d recommend knowing yourself and pursuing life, family, and career goals that matter to you — with service before self, integrity, and excellence.
For my situation here at work in a Non profit organization this was helpful. I needed this so much. Thank you.

I firmly believe in being yourself in all situations. Whether it be in front of the CEO or in front of your team down in the trenches. Never change your pitch because authenticity is valued.
You only have control over 1 thing in life. Your ATTITUDE. Whatever happens to you, good or bad, you have the ability to choose your attitude and response to that situation.
Strengthen your knowledge base, for everything is built upon it.
