Don’t Get Pneumonia
If you haven’t had pneumonia, don’t get it. The first antibiotic didn’t work like expected, but the second is doing the job. It’s been two weeks. They say it takes a while to fully recover.
Thank you for your encouraging notes on Friday’s post. It was great seeing your names and reading your short messages.

Wishing you a full and joyous recovery.
I wish you a speedy recovery and I”m suffering with you. I’ve never had pneumonia. Until I was diagnosed last week. I also highly do not recommend. Get well soon!
Speedy recovery Dan. Yes. Don’t get it. Second piece of advice, it takes months for the body to rehab. Don’t push it. Rest is the best for recovery. God bless you brother.

Dan, I’ve had it. It’s not fun. Remember not to push yourself, even if you are feeling better. Let your body rest and heal.
Get some rest. Hope you feel better very soon!
Pneumonia is no joke Dan, glad you are on the upswing, probably a good time to think about going to 3 posts a week 🙂 Take care!
Feel better and go slow! It takes a while to fully recover and a relapse is quite possible. Be well and take your time, we’ll wait for you!
Glad to hear you are on the mend. Wishing for your speedy recovery and restored health. Many blessings to you.
Saying a prayer for you today Dan. Thank you for the impact you have had in my (and so many others) life. While we all miss you, don’t rush the recovery.
I’m curious to hear what this experience may inspire you to write for leaders who find they aren’t able to produce in a season for one reason or another? What might this expose within ourselves? Is there any good that can of it?
Get well soon!
Hope you feel better soon!
Coming from a nurse, take the time. Listen to your body, rest. It takes longer than you think to recoup. We’ll be here when you get back! 🙂
Rest and get well soon!
I have had it and give it a firm 0/10!
Yup, this is a very bad illness. And can take a loonnggg time to recover fully. One day, in the not too distant future, it will be 5pm and you’ll suddenly notice that “hey, I don’t have to lie down!” That’s when you know you’re over it.
Take good care and get better! Your health is most important. Rest easy and recover. We await your healthy return….
Wishing you a strong, quick recovery.
I hope you’re feeling better soon. I miss reading you every morning! This has been another lesson in appreciation. We miss you when you’re gone. Thank you for your insightful posts.
Glad you are taking time off to fully heal and recover. That’s what the body needs sometimes! Please take care!
Take the time you need to recover and rest up. Wishing you a speedy recovery.
Get well soon! Don’t rush to get back to working to soon. Get your rest and drink plenty of fluids. Nurse Brenda speaking here.

Job1–take care of yourself. I hope you are back on your A-game soon!
Thanks for sharing your struggles, prayers for a complete recovery. I’ve had pneumonia more than once, and both times took more than one round of antibiotics. And way more than two weeks to feel 100%. Feel better!
Best wishes for a fast recovery…. have that chicken soup! Best.
I can relate because my son was recently afflicted with pneumonia, too. Not fun.
He was diagnosed with it in one lung. He took two types of antibiotics, an inhaler, and a probiotic supplement. Two weeks later, he’s back to normal activity. The reality is that one can catch it anywhere. Our physician told us that someone could cough somewhere and minutes later, you unknowingly walk through the invisible cloud of particles and inhale the bug. The silver lining is that adding the probiotic to his diet has helped his digestive health and he will be living better moving forward.
Dear Dan,
I am so sorry to hear you are sick. I wish a speedy recovery and get well soon.
Best,
Ebrahim Biparva
